Asecond
welcome to the Grand Bazaar Magazine which
symbolizes fineness, goodness, hope and and hard work at a time when war, desperation,
misery and pessimism are at their peak.
The Afghani Turcomans who have fled away from the hunger and horror of their
motherland to our country add a new dimension to the rich culture of the Grand
Bazaar. The radiance of the Turcoman child's picture on the cover of this issue
is our greatest source of hope. We pray this radiance and the hope reflected
from his smile never ends.
The Grand Bazaar does not only host people of different nationalities but also
their cultures and serves as a place where cultures blend -a world cultural
center. That's why we say the Bazaar does not belong to its inhabitants alone,
but is a legacy of all humankind.
The Grand Bazaar is a refuge of
qualities only. One of my dreams is to make the Grand Bazaar a universal trade
mark. A trade mark listed at the top of list of international trademarks.
I pray that my dreams come true
